Brian Lea and Leina Horii always expected their first Japanese comfort food restaurant, Kisser, to grow at an organic rate.
Instead, their rise has been meteoric and Kisser, which serves marinated hamachi collar, warm bowls of hand-pulled udon and shrimp inari, has been crowded since it launched in 2023 in East Nashville to great fanfare — and long waits.
